Description
Deer-horn (Cervoceratops rhinoceros)
Length: 5 meters.
Weight: 1.5 tons.
Diet: Vines, bushes, leaves of trees, ferns and cycads, fallen fruit and nuts.
Mainly inhabiting jungle and lowland forest, the Deer-horn is smaller and more mobile than the Three-horn. Though probably descended from the same ancestor, it has a different configuration of horns, somewhat resembling the Styracosaurus of Late Cretaceous North America. These dinosaurs live mainly solitary lives except when mating and rearing young. They feed mainly on low-growing vines, bushes, trees, ferns and cycads, as well as eating fallen fruit and nuts.
