Description
This is my representation of Chmee the Kzin from Larry Niven's "Known Space".
Current portrayal of Kzin are far too furry/anthro for my general liking. Professional illustrators draw them as bipedal tigers with raptor claws, and anatomical artists make them look like stiff-backed Armadillos because of their "Belly Struts". The original cover art for some known space books was far worse, showing them as carnivorous orangutans.
So here is my Kzin, perhaps the best ever.

That's a good rendering, I have the same problems with the pro covers as you mentioned.
