Skull Island Bestiary - Sea Lizard

Sea Lizard (Tylosauroides ferox)

Length: 8 to 9 meters.

Weight: 1.7 tons.

Diet: Large fish, large squid, crabs, other marine reptiles and their young.

The most beastly and ferocious of the sea reptiles inhabiting Skull Island’s seas is the Sea Lizard. This Cretaceous Mosasaur is not only fast and cunning, but extremely aggressive and powerful. Skull Island people out in their canoes will turn back at the first sight of this animal, as they are well able to tip the boat over and kill its occupants. Explorers have remarked at its devastating savagery, in that it will attack sea reptiles as large as itself and often win. Thankfully, only one white explorer has met his end at the jaws of this creature, as it seems to be afraid of boat motors.
