Size: 40cm long
Diet: Fish, insects, medium sized animals
Age: Reptocene, 100 Million Years Hence
Description: A descendant of the Piranha that is able to fly using enlarged fins, it must return to water to respire using its gills. It can fill its gills with water and hold water in its gill chamber for longer periods of flying. A shoal come through an anomaly in the Florida Everglades, and some attack nearby humans who were catfish-noodling.

Oh Flying Piranhas! Surprising how many people independently came up with the concept, we would talk about them when we were kids, 30 years ago or more. The kind I use generally are a type of FLISH based on the concept in The Future is Wild

Theres a creature in DreamWorks upcoming movie the Croods,that has the same name as this. But it look like a long legged red bird with a Pirahna head. instead of a Piranha with wings.
