Primeval - Dire Horse by Pristichampsus Primeval - Dire Horse by Pristichampsus
Codename: Dire Horse
Size: 2.5 meters long, 200kg
Diet: meat, medium animals, occasionally large animals
Age: Mid Cretaceous
Description: Not technically a horse, but a flightless pterosaur, this creature is a fast runner, and has lethal wing-daggers for bringing down prey. One comes through an anomaly at a racecourse, and is discovered after several horses are found walking around with large wounds from the creature's big teeth.

We already have macropredatory pterosaurs, this one is overkill.

It's a fan-art for a sci-fi TV show. Give it a break!

Are the vestigial wing fingers opposable? Very interesting creature, as flightless pterosaurs always are...

Great concept! Alternately it could be an unknown group of mesonychians.

d'aww.. alright :)

then you can.. hmm.. how about this guy? [link] he has a horn on the nose if that isn't that visible. the lighter gray stuff on his head, legs and tail is the bone shell or spikes, the darker gray is just skin with that color. and no, it has no eyes :)
